Universal Service Fee: 9.9%
Sprint has devised some new monthly fees that other major long
distance carriers don't impose.
Here they are:

property tax fee
-
This goes to cover Sprint's property taxes.
It is currently 1.08% of your charges, and is factored
into the rates calculated by the Long Distance Rate Calculator.

single bill fee
-
This monthly fee of $1.50 applies if you want your Sprint
bill to be included on your local telephone bill.
It's waived if your Sprint charges add up to at least $40.

in-state access fee
-
This is a flat amount that's added to the Sprint bill in several
states, supposedly to cover access costs paid to local phone companies.
It ranges up to $1.99 per month.
